Crowds gathered together to join an Easter parade through Solihull.
People of all faiths and religious beliefs were invited to join the towns Walks of Witness to mark the beginning of Easter on Good Friday.
Two separate walks were organised in Solihull town centre and Shirley.
Beryl Moppett, from Solihull Faiths Forum, said: "Although this internationally recognised day is a special occasion for Christians, we welcome people of all faiths to join us for the walks whatever their religious beliefs."
Those taking part in the Solihull town centre event met at St Alphege Church and followed a route down the High Street to Mell Square.
Hymns, prayers and blessings also took place along the way with an act of worship in Mell Square.
The Shirley walk began at the Roman Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Wayside. This started with prayers and a hymn before walking up the Stratford Road.
