A NEW £4million flagship health centre has opened in Solihull creating 15 new jobs.

A NEW £4million flagship health centre has opened in Solihull creating 15 new jobs.

The state-of-the-art Bupa centre in Station Road is the first of a new generation of ‘Wellness Centres’ which could be rolled out nationally.

The private health care company has invested over £1million in the latest technology and the two-storey development boasts 24 consulting and treatment rooms, alaboratories and dental and radiology suites.

The team of doctors and therapists will be able to treat more than 5,000 people a year.

Dr Mike McGhee, senior regional physician for Bupa Wellness said: “This new facility is the health and wellness centre of the future.

“As well as health assessments to detect problems early, it also offers a wide range of services to keep you healthy including exercise and fitness, dentistry and non-surgical treatments.”

The centre’s team can help people with back, neck and sports injuries as well as those who need support in getting fit for work.
