TWENTY-five youngsters from Belarus are spending a month-long holiday with Solihull families.

The break for children aged nine to 16, is organised annually by The Chernobyl Children’s Charity.

The visitors were given a guided tour of the council house by the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Irene Chamberlain.

Coun Chamberlain said: “The charity and volunteers who have enabled this exchange are truly remarkable, and I would like to thank them for ensuring that these young people are given the opportunity for this much-needed break.”
