LAST Friday Arden staff and pupils enjoyed a day in the Wild West to raise money for Children in Need.
The non-uniform day saw a range of styles from cowboys to Red Indians. Principal Martin Murphy joined the fun, dressing as Toy Story’s ‘Woody’ for the day. There were several themed activities such as horseshoe throwing, rifle ranges and line dancing.
Arden have supported Children in Need for many years but this was one of the best ever days, having raised over £3,000 and still counting.
Adam Goodridge, the member of staff responsible for co-ordinating the day said: “It’s so impressive to see the commitment and enthusiasm of both staff and pupils to raise money in this way. We all had a lot of fun.”
