SOLIHULL Arts Complex are getting ready to put on a production of Jack and the Beanstalk - beginning next month.
Now the venue has teamed up with the Solihull Times and is offering a family ticket for the opening night.
The theatre's pantomime has become a local favourite and for the past 18 years it has been written by and starred Malcolm Stent. In this year's show, the entertainer will be playing Simple Simon.
As always, a rather violent giant is menacing Jack's homeland. The fiend's castle in the clouds is crammed full of gold and he has taken every scrap the village has.
Meanwhile Dame Trot is so poor she has nothing left to sell except Daisy the cow. She sends her son Jack off to market to get a good price.
Silly Jack strikes a deal with a strange but kind lady. When Dame Trot finds out she is furious. Join us to find out what happens with the magic beans, the giant, Jack, his mum and all his funny friends!
The pantomime will be on from December 12-January 11. Tickets can be booked from the box office on 0121 711 5725. More information and some panto puzzles can be found at www.solihull.gov.uk
