SOLIHULL’S fantastic comedy festival is fast approaching - but if you haven’t got your tickets yet, don’t worry as we’ve managed to bag six pairs from the organisers to give away to our readers!

They’re for Lolihull’s extravanganza Wednesday Laughter Live with star of TV and radio Arthur Smith on April 10.

The evening is hosted by comedian Dave Morgan, and promises a comedy-tastic night of mirth with headline act Arthur - so expect an evening of sublime playfulness, crammed with jokes, anecdotes and short stories.

Arthur’s a BBC regular, well known for his appearances on TV’s ‘Grumpy Old Men’, ‘Q.I.’, ‘Have I Got News For You’, ‘The One Show’, Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’, ‘Balham Bash’, and host of Radio 4 Extra’s Comedy Club, and Radio 2’s ‘Smith Lectures’ plus Radio 4’s Excess Baggage.

He is a ‘Spirit of The Fringe’ award-winning Edinburgh Festival stalwart.

Arthur is simply one of our funniest and most original comic performers and is guaranteed to bring you a night of hilarity, mirth and scandal...with a touch of rudeness thrown in for good measure.

His delivery is relaxed and sardonic, but his shows are a surprising, dark and witty treat.

He is joined for this Lolihull! showstopper by show host Dave Morgan and fellow comedians Andrew Ryan and Joey Page.

Joey has spent the last few years bouncing around the comedy circuit, supporting the likes of Josie Long and Noel Fielding and appearing on shows such as BBC 3’s comedy marathon, Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Noel Fielding’s Luxury comedy.

Joey has an excitable yet likeable personality and he has been described as ‘one of most unique and memorable rising stars in the business’.

If you’re not a winner, Lolihull runs from April 6-13 and features a host of top comedy names with tickets for Arthur Smith at £15 on 0121 704 6962.

To enter our competition, all you need to do is name us a TV programme Arthur Smith has appeared in.
