SHOPPING was made easy for Dorridge resident Juliet Davis when she grabbed a cool £300 worth of goods in the Lions’ trolley dash.

Juliet sprinted her way to success with a four-minute dash held at the Tesco Extra store in Monkspath.

She said: “I saw the Lions trolley dash was for local causes and decided to buy two tickets never expecting to win – well you don’t do you? It was a great surprise and great fun on the day.”

The raffle was organised between Shirley and Knowle & Dorridge Lions clubs.

The proceeds will help fund a tea party for elderly residents in Shirley and youth travel bursaries for young people in Knowle and Dorridge.
