A MOTORIST, whose car “made contact” with a cyclist, has admitted driving without due care and attention.

Janet Griffiths had been approaching the junction of Widney Lane, in her Vauxhall Astra on September 21, when she hit the cyclist, turning right from Widney Manor Road, causing her to ‘stumble.’

The 60-year-old, of Heron Lane, Stratford-Upon-Avon, told the court: “I did not see (the cyclist) signal. If she says she did, fair enough, but I did not see her.”

Griffiths was handed four penalty points and ordered to pay £170.
