A YOUNG woman was taken to hospital after the car she was travelling in crashed into a wall in Tanworth-in-Arden.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene of the collision in Poolhead Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Both an ambulance and a Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance were dispatched to the scene of the crash.
A WMAS spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find a car which had left the road and collided with a wall.
“The passenger of the car, a woman believed to be in her 20s, was complaining of severe neck and back pain.”
Paramedics worked closely with fire crews to cut the woman from the vehicle - removing the roof so they could release here.
The patient received treatment at the scene and was then sent to Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. The driver of the car was uninjured in the smash.
The crash is the second to take place in the sleepy area of Warwickshire within the last few weeks.
On July 22, a sports car ploughed through the front door of a Henley-in-Arden cottage - trapping the occupants upstairs. No one was serious injured in the crash.
