NIGHT time road closures and lane restrictions at the A45 Stonebridge Island in Solihull are to be put in place while road signs are replaced.

Estimated to take five weeks, work begins on Monday, November 19, which will see lane restrictions on the approach to and around Stonebridge Island, while the A45 westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight.

Motorists looking to exit the A45 at this location will have to continue to the M42 junction 6 exit and take the fifth exit at the roundabout onto the A45 eastbound.

To minimise disruption work will be done between 6.45pm and 7am.

Purnima Kaul from the Highways Agency, said: “The road signs on Stonebridge Island have come to the end of their serviceable life. We have planned the work carefully to keep disruption to a minimum.”
