SOLIHULL Police want information on this man (pictured) who allegedly took a passer-by to a bank at knife point and forced him to withdraw money.
It’s believed the suspect approached his victim at around 3pm on Friday June 4 in Lode Lane, Solihull, before threatening him and demanding cash. He then walked the man to a hole-in-the-wall on Hermitage Road where he robbed him of £30.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 20-years-old, slim, just over 6ft tall and with light brown hair. He was wearing a beige coloured hat, aviator-style red-tinted sunglasses with metal rims, a red and white checked long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
Detective Constable Dave Mason from Solihull Police, said: “It’s an intriguing incident, especially as the alleged offender only demanded a relatively small sum once they’d reached the cash point.
“There’s a chance he may have experienced some remorse after hearing from the victim that his father had recently passed away.”
Anyone with information about the man is urged to contact DC Mason at Solihull Police on 0345 113 5000 (ext: 7921 6739).
