TWO talented young Solihull tennis players will be given the chance to try out their skills on Wimbledon’s hallowed courts next month.

Seven-year-old Zak Sammons and Kiara Henry, who is eight, were both chosen for a tennis coaching session of a lifetime after attending the regional heat of Robinsons 75 kids for 75 years competition in Birmingham.

The pair were picked out by Wimbledon head coach Dan Bloxham when 60 local children descended on Billesley Indoor Tennis Centre this week.

They can now look forward to an expenses paid trip to Wimbledon during the May half term break where they will receive some top class coaching together with a few words of advice from legendary British player Tim Henman who will be dropping in as part of his Robinsons brand ambassador role.

Robinsons are backing the nationwide search to discover young tennis talent of the future to mark their 75 years of sponsorship at Wimbledon.

In addition to their coaching trip, both Zak and Kiara can enjoy three months of free membership at their local David Lloyd tennis club where they will be able to practise their own tailored tennis programme which will be devised for them by Dan Bloxham.
