A SUPER swimmer from Hall Green has covered an impressive 1,000 metres at just six-years-old.
Emma Khan, who has been swimming since the age of two, swam the 40 lengths in just 40 minutes at the David Lloyd Cranmore Gym in Solihull last weekend.
The young swimmer, who attends St Ambrose Barlow Catholic School, is now working towards her next milestone - the 2,000 metres.
“This is extremely advanced for a girl of her age and I am very proud of Emma,” proud dad Riaz Khan said.
“Emma has been swimming at David Lloyd since she was crawling, she has worked really hard.
“I want to thank swimming instructors Louise and Jackie who really have done an excellent job with Emma.”
Emma told the Solihull News she ‘loves’ to swim and is ‘really happy’ with her achievement.
