NEC casino application deferred by Solihull Council

PLANNING chiefs will not decide on whether to grant permission for a leisure and casino complex until later this month.

Solihull councillors had been due to consider an application for Resort World, at the NEC, at last night (Wednesday's) meeting.

But the decision was deferred while the council's officers iron out a few technical issues.

Members are now set to consider the application at their next meeting on February 22.
