Park Hall School celebrates with garden party

PARK Hall School in Castle Bromwich will be holding a Garden Party on Thursday July 9 to celebrate their new state of the art building.

The governors, staff and students are opening the doors of the school to all members of the community to see the new £27 million pound building project.

It consists of purpose built sports facilities, a multi-gym, multi use games areas (Muga), modern classrooms, a library, learning centre, sixth form work areas, cafeteria, cyber café, terrace and garden areas.

The school is holding a ‘Week of Culture’ during the first week in July which will involve a celebration of cultures from around the world.

Activities taking place include Aboriginal story telling, Gaelic football, a range of musical celebrations from around the world, Henna hand painting, staff raising funds for charity by wearing costumes from around the world, various visiting speakers and lessons focused on celebrating similarities and differences.

The Garden Party gets underway at 2.15pm.
