Megan serves perfect ace

A TALENTED youngster has shown her art skills to win a Wimbledon painting competition.

Megan Dudley won first prize from the Solihull region, beating Year 5 and 6 pupils from 20 schools, in a competition judged by the regional managers of HSBC Bank plc.

It was run by the bank as part of their sponsorship of the “Road to Wimbledon” and was open to schools all over the West Midlands.

Megan, 10, a pupil at Shirley Heath School, showed great imagination with her design of a place setting inspired by Wimbledon.

Megan won a £20 gift voucher and tennis equipment for her school, which could help develop a future Wimbledon player.
