Solihull Round Table are getting ready to celebrate, not only holding the largest firework display in the borough, but also having the backing of dozens of local sponsors, who have come out in force to support the event.
This years display will feature over s5,000 of fireworks choreographed to music from the classics in Tudor Grange Park.
Over 15,000 people are expected to attend the free event which has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, despite being in doubt when the recession hit.
Andy Cole, from the Ramada Hotel and a member of Solihull Round Table, said: It is fantastic to see all the local support this year, and we have now also secured the backing of BRMB, and are supporting a local message from the NHS about using the correct service, so we are expecting this display to be something really special. The display is paid for by donations on the night, so we are hoping everyone will give generously, although anyone who cant wont have to pay, as this is designed as a display for the community, and to celebrate all that is great about Solihull. The event will also feature the BRMB stage with presenters and competitions, and plenty of opportunity to get your sparkly souvenirs from local school PTAs, with food provided by local scout troops.
It all takes place on November 5, with the main stage opening at 5.30pm, and the main firework display at 6.30pm. More information is available at www.roundtablefireworks.com
