A FORMER Solihull School pupil is hoping his new fashion line with a conscience will take root and branch out to bigger things.
James McAloon is the founder of Excentree, the company behind Tree Shirts – clothing that is GOTS certified organic cotton, and helps to reduce the wearer’s carbon footprint.
Excentree helps each customer plant one tree in one of 17 agro-reforestation projects worldwide for every piece of clothing that is bought. One tree for every T-Shirt, vest, jacket, or pair of socks, and even the tag is made from seeded paper, so that it too can be planted.
With T-shirts available at just £19.99 each, it’s an easy way to go green. Visit www.excentree.com for more details.
