FLIP-flop weather is all but over despite last week’s fabulous Indian summer and many of us will be covering up our tootsies ready for the winter months ahead.
Now is the perfect time to treat your feet with a luxury pedicure and with this in mind I headed off to the funkily named Tutii Frutii Nails & Beauty in Lyndon Road, Solihull.
Based above Anthony John Hair, therapists Gill and Emma offer a variety of treatments at value for money prices.
My deluxe experience began with a soothing foot soak followed by nail shaping. The cuticles were then softened.
An exfoliating cream was applied to both feet, rinsed and then an intensive foot mask was liberally applied.
The next stage sees feet placed inside a heated pair of bootees which looks strange but really conditions and nourishes.
A wonderfully relaxing foot and leg massage was followed by a base coat and a wide choice of polish - I plumped for a very stylish slate grey - and finally a top coat.
The experience was super relaxing and Gill and Emma offer a range of treatments including waxing, manicures, acrylic and gel nails, facials, reflexology, massages and spray tans.
Basic pedicures start from just £14 and nail overlays from just £10 and they are offering 20 per cent off the first treatment over £5 to new clients.
