Banbury 11 Old Silhillians 14
SILS travelled to Banbury looking to avenge the defeat in December. If results went their way they could finish second in the league, going into the final weekend with a chance of a play off for promotion.
The game got off to a frantic start but after early pressure Sils took the lead through of Steve Hawkins.
Sils extended their lead through a Cameron Law try, converted by Hawkins. Banbury scored a try of their own and, thanks to a Hawkins penalty, Sils went in at half time at 10-8. Banbury took the lead with a penalty but six unaswered points from Hawkins gave Sils the match.
