GOLF legend Ian Woosnam OBE has been confirmed for Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship 2012 at Nailcote Hall in Solihull.
A stalwart of Tony Jacklin’s highly successful European Ryder Cup teams of the 1980s, 1991 Masters Champion Ian Woosnam OBE will be joining his former skipper at the championship from August 7-10.
With more than 48 professional titles to his name worldwide and a famous Masters Tournament Green Jacket in his wardrobe, Ian Woosnam is quite simply one of the most successful European golfers of the last 50 years and all the team behind the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship 2012 are delighted that he will be teeing off at Nailcote Hall on the August 7-10.
Owner of Nailcote Hall, Rick Cressman, is looking forward to seeing the Welsh Master in action: “The Championship continues to attract stellar names from the golfing fraternity and I am excited at the prospect of seeing a Masters Champion take on the Cromwell Course,” he said.
