DAN Ceillam from Olton & WW fourth XI scored his maiden adult team century to help see off Weoley Hill.

But the 14-year-old cut it fine, hitting his hundred with the very last ball of the innings.

Olton were on 70-2 when the youngster came to the crease but his heroics with the bat steered his side to 222-7 at the close.

Weoley Hill could find no response to Olton's young attack which consisted of five bowlers aged 17 and younger. The outstanding bowling of the day was from John Bosworth whose figures of 6-3 off six overs thoroughly demoralised the Weoley Hill batters as Olton dismissed them for 72 to win by 150 runs.

Olton's fourth XI are undefeated and are lead the way in Division Two of the West Midlands Championship.
