LAPWORTH Cricket Club is celebrating its centenary on Sunday, July 13, with a fun day at the club's Nelson Memorial Ground.
Highlight of the day is an afternoon cricket match between Lapworth and a team of Aston Villa footballing legends.
As well as the cricket there will be a number of game stalls, cake and plant stands and many other fun and exciting activities.
There will even be a display of vintage cars and SPEAR will have a miniature Shetland pony at the ground for the youngsters.
A pig roast and a barbecue will be on the site as well as a licensed and soft drinks bar.
The gates open at 1.30pm and the cricket match and fun starts at 2.30pm.
Admission costs just £2.50 per adult and children under 15 will be allowed in for free.
