CRICKET: KNOWLE & Dorridge Cricket Club are holding a Twenty20 game later this month to celebrate the benefit years of two former Station Road favourites.

The star-studded match will see a Michael Powell XI take on a David Hemp XI in the exciting cricket format that is taking the world by storm.

Former Warwickshire captain Powell, and current Glamorgan skipper (and former Bear) Hemp, will lead out their invitational sides on Wednesday, June 25.

The pair will be joined by some of their current county teammates as well as special guests and past players in a night which promises to be full of entertainment.

Entry is just £2 per person, or £5 for a family ticket on the gate. For those who wish to pre-book they can buy tickets from the club on Station Road. Food and refreshments will be available on the evening which gets under way from 5pm.

Money raised will go towards Care Leukaemia and for further information contact Alison Prosser at the Michael Powell Benefit Office on 0121 627 5858 or K&D CC on 01564 774338.
