AFC Somers 5 Silhill 4

SILHILL left Grange Road as unlucky losers in a nine-goal thriller last week.

Bouncing back from 2-0 down to a brace from Somers' lethal leftback Ross Surplice, the electric David Johnson powered two goals past home keeper Ben Foulkes to level the scores by halftime. Then Justin Perry made no mistake for the third and Dan Pollitt added a fourth as Silhill romped ahead.

Nevertheless Somers responded with three late goals - two from Alex Hemmings and fellow forward Simon Dixon grabbed the winner.
