SOLIHULL Moors made it three wins on the trot to crown a superb August Bank Holiday weekend.
Ryan Beswick got the ball rolling as Moors secured a 2-1 win over Gloucester City on Saturday.
Beswick, opened Moors account from the penalty spot after 43 minutes when City goalkeeper Kevin Sawyer had brought down Dean Lea.
Adam Cunnington then scored his first goal for Moors by heading home Joel Grandison’s cross early in the second half before City hit back with a late consolation through Darren Mullins.
Moors produced some of their best football of the season following a fabulous opening 45 minutes at Worcester City on Monday.
Beswick was again on the mark as Moors bagged a 1-0 win.
Worcester hit back after the break and it took a wonder save from goalkeeper Jasbir Singh to keep out Marc McGregor’s header with just two minutes remaining.
Moors are back in Blue Square North action on Saturday when they visit Workington Town where boss Bob Faulkner will be forced to rule out injury-hit Matty West and Charlie O’Loughlan.
