IN a highly competitive match Earls applied much of the early pressure in this Midland Combination Premier fixture.

Django Farrell and Reece Hewitt forced saves from the home goalkeeper but it was Pershore who took the lead through Alex Lavery.

The start of the second half was uneventful for the first 20 minutes but then Hewitt saw his powerful shot from midway inside the Pershore half rebound off the top of the post and fall nicely to Farrell who lashed it into the net to put Earls on equal terms.

Earls manager brought on a couple of substitutes after 70 minutes but it was Pershore who came closest to taking the lead and Jake Belford had to pull off a good save.

Earslwood play Racing Club Warwick away this Saturday, kick off 3pm.
