LOAN rangers Luke Keen and Aaron Daniels each scored first half goals to give Highgate an important win in this basement clash.
Tomorrow they take on Racing Club Warwick who are slumped at the bottom half of the table on 15 points - the same tally as Peter Frain's men.
The popular boss was delighted last week after watching his side pick up back-to-back league wins for the first time this season, and he is hoping their recent revival continues.
Gate got off to the best possible start when Keen headed his side into the lead after just seven minutes.
Oadby went close to equalising in the 15th minute when Ryan Seal's header hit the bar but as the game progressed Highgate began to take control.
Keen was just wide with a first time volley and Luke Edwards was denied by the woodwork before Elliot Pacey levelled the scores against the run of play.
However, Gate were quick to respond, restoring their lead moments later. Dave Timmins burst out of defence and set up Keen who hit the post before Daniels tapped in the rebound.
