A SOLIHULL girls’ football team is putting a desperate call out for new players - as they can’t regularly field a full team.
Despite quite often being down on numbers though, Solihull Borough Girls FC (under 15s) are only losing by narrow margins.
One of the player’s dads, whose daughter Ashley Lloyd plays for the teams said: “Although we’ve only usually got eight, nine or ten players against 11, we’re still only losing by the odd goal or two,” said Colin. “With a few extra players I think the girls will be able to turn these results around.”
They train on Wednesday nights at Lode Heath School and play home games on a Saturday afternoon at Langley School. The club are appealing for any girls in Years 9 and 10 who like football, regardless of experience or ability, to contact team manager Vince on 07982 712912.
