The hot-shot scrambled home the first of his three goals from a corner before doubling their advantage after charging down a clearance and tapping the ball into the empty net.

He wrapped up his trio from the spot late on.

Knowle Under-9s A team had Harry Hall to thank as his extra-time winner sent them through to the fifth round of the CWYFL Open Cup at the expense of Fordbridge.

Sidney Hicks scored two and Stefan Mason curled in a

wonderful free kick as Knowle drew 3-3 in normal time.

A Luke Turbutt penalty midway through the first half gave Knowle Under-11s a deserved lead over a strong Sporting FC team but the Under-13s were hammered 6-0 by Celtic Reds.

Elsewhere, the girls’ Under-13s kept up their fine form with a 6-0 win over Coundon Court.

Lauren Smith bagged four goals and was supported by goals from Lizzie Stainton and Faye Richards.
