Highgate slipped to a third consecutive defeat at the hands of local rivals Coleshill Town.
The visitors went ahead on 20 minutes - leading scorer Matt Robinson heading home off a pin point Tom Brady cross.
Gate responded in positive fashion and should have been on level terms at the break after both Liam O’Shea and Tom Giddings hit the bar from close range.
An early second half O’Shea cross rolled over the face of goal with Chris Gummery unable to get the final touch and keeper Chris Butler was alert to rush off his line to hack away Jake Shimmons’ through ball. But despite Highgate’s lively start to the half Coleshill doubled their lead in 55th minute when Ben Porter slid the ball past Perry Cox.
Defender Brady cleared a Steve Darlington header off the line with Luke Edwards crashing his follow up effort wide and Gummery had two shots saved by Butler but Coleshill added a third late on through Rob Evans.
