DEPLETED Highgate are desperately seeking a win at Biddulph Victoria tomorrow to help them move away from the Midland Alliance drop-zone.

The injury-ravaged side remain in the bottom four after losing to impressive league leaders Market Drayton Town last week.

Peter Frain had no complaints about the defeat but will be hoping to have star strikers Chris Gummery and Liam O'Shea back to fire them up the league.

Captain Steve Darlington returned to the heart of the defence last week but he could do nothing to prevent the table-toppers taking the lead through James Garvey after 12 minutes.

Highgate battled to get back into the game but Aaron Daniels dragged his effort wide and visiting keeper Andrew Pryce kept out a good effort from Darlington.

With 15 minutes remaining Town substitute Duncan Hurler headed in a Jason Francis cross to double his side's lead and despite late chances from the hosts there was no way back.
