Managers set for charity tie

MANAGERS from Olton Ravens will swap the touch-line for the field on Sunday as they line-up against each other in a charity football match.

MANAGERS from Olton Ravens will swap the touch-line for the field on Sunday as they line-up against each other in a charity football match.

The tacticians will pit their wits against their fellow bosses at Solihull Moors' Damson Park to help raise funds for the breast cancer support group, Breast Friends.

With ages ranging between 30 and 60, the gruelling task of 90 minutes of football will be quite different to their regular Sunday duties.

Liz Stanley, a member of Breast Friends, said: "It is not very often men get involved in this sort of thing but, as the managers said to me, they also are very affected by this disease and offer a great deal of support to their loved ones and we're only to glad to help."
