SOLIHULL Moors boss Marcus Bignot wants his club to threaten the top half of the Blue Square North and build on the team he’s built at Damson Park.
Moors have been stuck in the lower half of the league for the first part of the season but the club progressed to the first round proper of the FA Trophy for the first time in its history, despite an injury crisis and two players missing for the birth of their children.
Bignot said: “It’s just shown the strength in depth we’ve got in the squad and shows the direction I want to be going ahead with.
“The squad is getting stronger and stronger and we are at the half way mark and in many ways we haven’t been able to field our strongest squad yet.
“I just want to build on what I’ve started here. I want to bring the team forward.
“What I want for 2012 is to build on that continuity and I want to position this club in the other half of the table.
“By the end of 2012 I want to get this club there or thereabouts.”
