SOLIHULL Moors coasted to a comfortable four nil victory over Vauxhall Motors, completing a league double over their opponents as well as recording the biggest victory in the merged club’s history.
Solihull went in front after 20 minutes. A Greg Mills corner caused a goal line scramble involving nine players with the ball being poked home by Indy Khela.
Moments later some fancy ball skills from Jake Edwards set up James McPike but his shot hit the post.
Despite creating chances Moors had to wait until the 55th minute before finishing the game off. First McPike smashed home from close range and then turned provider to set up Edwards for the third.
Sub Craig Gardner completed the rout in the final minutes, rounding the keeper before tapping into an empty net.
Moors play table topping Southport away on Saturday ko 3pm.
