Robins look to bounce back

KNOWLE will be hoping to make up for a disappointing display last weekend when basement boys Brocton visit the Beehive tomorrow.

KNOWLE will be hoping to make up for a disappointing display last weekend when basement boys Brocton visit the Beehive tomorrow.

Four second half goals from prolific Pilkington hot-shot Andrew Johnson condemned Knowle to their third defeat of the season.

Dave Cox's men visited the Triplex Sports Ground on the back of an exciting 2-2 draw with Coton Green but a second-half horror show saw them lose to a strong Pilkington outfit.

Scott Oliver had put the Robins ahead after 17 minutes - a lead they held until Johnson struck just after half time.

But there was no way back for Knowle and they crumbled to defeat when Johnson smashed another three goals past Chris Knott.

The defeat leaves them in 14th place but just three points above tomorrow's opponents.
