SOLIHULL Moors FC has been invited to take part in the FA’s ‘Sir Bobby Robson National Football Day’ on August 10.
The event aims to be a celebration of grassroots football and the 400,000 volunteers without whom we wouldn’t have a national game.
On that Saturday Solihull host Stourbridge in their final pre-season friendly at The Autotech Stadium, kick off 3pm and the club’s Youth and Junior section will be holding a coaching session with the Under 9’s team before kick-off, followed by a penalty shootout at half time with one of the Solihull Moors Girls teams to celebrate the occasion.
Solihull Moors FC would encourage all fans and supporters to help create the game that everyone can be part and proud of by getting involved. The club will charge all non-season ticket spectators just £1.50, the programme will cost £1.50 and the club will donate £150 to the Bobby Robson Foundation.
