Wins are not enough to stop the moaners

A DOGGED workman-like performance was needed on Tuesday for Moors to beat a tough Redditch side known for their physical style of play.

A DOGGED workman-like performance was needed on Tuesday for Moors to beat a tough Redditch side known for their physical style of play.

But despite grinding out the result in difficult conditions there were still moans and groans directed towards the side.

Long serving Faulkner hit out at the critics and says the only way some people will be happy is if they are watching a win at Old Trafford or the Emirates Stadium every week.

"We were happy with the two wins especially down at Redditch on an awful night.

"We battled to get a win against a big, strong, physical team on a bobbly pitch but there were still people moaning.

"They ought to get a ticket at Manchester United or Arsenal, because I think that's the only way they will be happy.

"It's a shame because the lads have played really well."

Moors fans what do you think? Are you happy when your team is winning, or are you still demanding more from Bob and the boys. * Send your views to gregg_evans@mrn.co.uk.
