The first Solihull Moors ‘Community Moors’ Soccer camp came to a successful conclusion last Friday at John Henry Newman Catholic College, Chelmsley Wood.
The free soccer camp was led by director of football Marcus Bignot and was fully subscribed by 60 local children from the ages of five to 11.
Coaching was done by the Solihull Moors first team staff with members of the Birmingham City Ladies squad.
One of the many highlights was a question and answer session, followed by a signing of shirts, posters or anything that came to hand by Moors youth and junior ambassador and Birmingham and England star Karen Carney and Blues Men’s midfielder Wade Elliott.
The Children also met Moors star striker Omar Bogle who handed out medals and certificates to all 60 children at the end of the week presentation.
