HAMPTON Village’s teenage cricketer Anikett Sonsale received his trophy this week after being named Prime Chartered Accountants cricket player of the month.
The wonderkid, aged 15, is an all-rounder and has impressed with both bat and ball this season for his club.
Anikett received a trophy and £50 in vouchers to spend at Edgbaston cricket club shop from PSA Director Kevin Johns.
Rodger Charlton - team captain, coach and chairman of cricket at the club - said he was “very proud” of Anikett. He added: “As a player he is great to play with as he is both very sporting and very modest, given his amazing ability for his age.”
