All-square in Yardley Pershore clash

Yardley 2 Pershore 2

Yardley 2 Pershore 2

TWO goals from Yardley top striker Noor Zaman gave Yardley a deserved share of the points against a Pershore side that had won the game at home earlier in the season by 13-0 and sat fourth in the ENER-G MRHA West Midlands Division 2 table.

Although Pershore started brightly, another rout never looked likely.

Yardley took the lead with their first attack, Noor Zaman forcing the ball home in a goalmouth scramble. Pershore equalised near to half time.

Yardley continued to compete strongly in the second half and the game became an exciting end to end affair. With 20 minutes to go, Noor Zaman beat the Pershore keeper to score a brilliant solo goal to allow Yardley to regain the lead.

Yardley defended strongly but with 10 minutes left, Pershore equalised.
