Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club comprehensively won the recent invitational Solihull Trophy Relay Gala at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre.
Racing against teams from Solihull, Hinckley and Orion Swimming Clubs, of the 31 races completed Kingsbury won 15 in some very impressive times, producing 68 personal bests.
The Girls nine-year-old relay team of Megan Gough, Victoria Long, Beth Morrin and Alison Gascoigne won the backstroke and Freestyle relay
The Boys nine-yearold relay team of Mathew Tongue, Brian Strugnell, Oliver Lillycrop and Tom Rickus won the Backstroke, Freestyle and Breastroke relay
The Boys 10-year-old relay team of Tom Ellis-Moore, Alex Rogers, Tom Rainsford and Joseph Asser won the Freestyle, Butterfly and Breaststroke Relay
The Boys 11-year-old team of Liam McGurk, Kieran Humphertson, Alex Rogers and David Jenkins won the Breaststroke, Butterfly and Freestyle relay
The final Boys team of Harry Russon, Luke Thompson, Liam McGurk and Danny McDermott won the Butterfly, Freestyle and Backstroke Relay
The team ended the gala with an impressive win in the mixed boys and girls cannon.

The club is actively looking for new swimmers and can provide a high standard of training for all age groups at Kingsbury Swimming Pool and at North Solihull Sports Centre in Chelmsley Wood.
