Arden ladies finish squash season on a high

SOLIHULL Arden Ladies squash team ended their season with a good 3-2 win over Edgbaston Priory.

SOLIHULL Arden Ladies squash team ended their season with a good 3-2 win over Edgbaston Priory. However, having picked up a maximum 20 points the previous week, fellow Solihull club West Warks had an unassailable lead and were league winners before the Arden Ladies even hit a ball in their final fixture.

Priory visited Arden with just four players, which suited Arden as their number 1 string was also injured and unable to play.

In the first match Arden’s Jess Ireland loss 3-1 to Beth Parker, however Arden’s Lyndsey Vickers and Jane Armstrong both won their ties, although top string Ann Frew lost a very tough match to Priory’s Jenny Tamblyn.
