Last Saturday the Barons romped to success away at Grimsby Redwings, hammering the Lincolnshire side 12-4.

Dale White produced a stunning performance to guide Barons to an emphatic win.

Darren Bellerby's side followed up their impressive display with an crushing 8-1 victory at home to Flintshire Freeze.

Only three points separate the top four teams in the division now with the Barons lying in third.

A powerplay goal in the 1st period by Dean tonks, assisted by Stuart Clayton saw the Barons first on the scoreboard, followed 15 seconds later, by a Clayton goal.

Andy Ayres and Martin Misak increased the scores before Dean Tonks and Ben Woolaston put the game out of Flintshire's reach.

There was also time for captain Andrew Howarth and Erik Bakala to get on the score sheet before the visitors pulled back a late consolation goal.

Barons entertain Lancashire Raptors on Sunday (6.15pm).
