BECCI Crawshaw returned to Solihull this week with three medals after clearing up at the Jersey Open badminton competition.
The 14-year-old, who is Warwickshire’s number one U-17 girl, beat the reigning champion in the U-15 event but lost in the U-17s final.
Teaming up with her usual partner Eve O’Sullivan - the pair then went onto win both the U-15 and U-17 doubles event. And to complete a clean sweep of the U-15 tournaments, Becci also scooped gold in the mixed- doubles competition.
Richard Crawshaw, father of the Alderbrook School pupil, said she was ‘‘chuffed to bits’’ with her success.
And added: “She’s learning and progressing all the time and is really into her badminton.”
