REIGNING Birmingham League champions Knowle and Dorridge have risen to top spot in the Premier Division after pulling off an emphatic 102 run success over Kenilworth Wardens.
Attiq Chisti cracked 116 not out as Knowle and Dorridge piled on the runs to reach 241 for six.
Impressive Will Mottram then proceded to polish off Wardens with the ball, picking up fantastic figures of six for 24 as Wardens were reduced to 139 all out in reply.
Moseley managed an even better result by beating early season leaders Kidderminster Victoria by an outstanding eight wicket margin.
Fabulous Freddie Eburah took five for 26 while Sharkey Hussein snapped up four for 25 as Kidderminster were reduced to 105 all out.
It could have been worse for Kiddy had Shropshire batsman James Ralph not hit a half century.
There was still time for Moseley skipper Huw Jones to hammer 65 not out to help his side reel off their third success of the season so far.
Dorridge were involved in another desperately close contest in Division One before losing out by just one wicket against Stratford.
The result was tough on Dorridge's David Ball who made top score of 44 in his side's meagre 104 all out.
Ball then bagged bowling figures of four for 18, but Stratford scraped home with their last pair at the wicket on 105 for nine.
Olton went down by 22 runs to Herefordshire side Eastnor in Division Three - a result which has left the Grange Road side propping up the table.
Chasing an Eastnor target of 188, Olton fell short on 166 after Shahid Ahmed followed up his 44 with the bat by taking four for 41.
