A Solihull Martial Arts instructor has been awarded his 5th Dan black belt at a recent tournament.

Dean ‘Crazylegs’ Williams, who has held kickboxing and karate classes in Solihull for the last 13 years, has been awarded his 5th degree by the Professional Kickboxing Association (PKA). Dean is now the highest ranking PKA black belt in the UK.

“Martial Arts has opened up so many avenues for me,” Dean said. “I have competed and performed at some big venues and have made some incredible friends along the way. I still get as much of a buzz passing on my skills to new students as I did before passing my 1st Dan in 1996.”

In Japan 5th degree is called Godan but in the Western world it is often called the Master grade.

To celebrate this achievement Dean is offering new students the chance to train with him for no charge for a month. Call 07973 947792 to book.
