Another dire first half performance from Hampton saw them fall to defeat at Loughborough and concede a total of 14 goals in their last two matches. For the second week Hampton were six goals down by half time after individual mistakes and sloppy ball retention cost the visitors dearly.
The pick of the first half strikes provided Loughborough’s third goal when the Town forward cut inside at the top of the circle to unleash a reverse stick effort past keeper Simon Vanston-Rumney. Hampton created chances but the strike trio of Anthony Millest, Adey Baker and Alex Grafton failed to make them count.
Loughborough soaked up the Hampton pressure and a quick break and lacklustre resulted in a seventh.
