With the first division encounter all level at 4-4 Rob Forrester and John Hudson won the last rubber in three games to clinch the match.

It was a disastrous day out for the 2nd Men’s team against Saltley Centre in the 3rd division where a difficult away game left them with a very disappointing 9-0 defeat.

The Ladies’ 3rd team picked up a crucial away win against Castle Bromwich in the 3rd division. Captain Jude Warrington led Jayne Clarke, Katie Johnson and Anne Geilen to a 4-2 victory.

In the Solihull League, the Combined 1st team continued their domination of the 1st division with Captain Andrew Wainwright, Paul Harris, Debbie Darkes and Katie Johnson cruising to a 6-0 victory against Pyjamas.

It wasn’t such happy news for the Combined 2nd team who lost 6-0 to Activ Sports in the same division.

Results went the right way for the juniors from the Performance Centre though.
