EDWARDIANS top the table after reeling off their third straight win against a Stoke side reduced to 14 men.
Impressive Eds made a storming start when No8 Andrew Jervis raced over for a try.
Fly half John Corr then landed a drop goal before under pressure Stoke lost their outside centre who was dismissed for deliberately killing the ball to prevent a try.
Scrum half Mark Garrick kicked the resulting penalty as Eds remained on the attack, Jervis snapping up his second try after stealing Stoke’s line-out ball before being driven over by his pack.
Eds looked a bit lethargic in the second half but increased their lead when full back Dan Johnson scored under the posts and winger Phil Ceillam converted.
Centre John Ferdinand made sure of the all-important bonus point with a fourth try which Ceillam improved upon. Stoke seized a last-gasp converted try after applying some late pressure.
Eds travel to Rugeley on Saturday for a cup game.
